June 18, Exhibition of medicinal plants in Brno
The Medicinal Herbs Centre – a specialized botanical garden of the Faculty of Medicine in Brno – will be open to the general public from 19th June to 6th July, daily from 9 am to 6 pm. In the garden of nearly 1 ha you can see a unique assortment of more than 800 species and varieties of medicinal, toning, toxic, spices, aromatic and dietetic plants. You are cordially invited to the 52nd annual of the traditional event.

June 4, Calgary
Pine Creek Sewage Plant neighbourhood along Bow River was a new ground for our botany exploration. A narrow strip along the river bank is rich in wildflowers, very little contaminated by weeds. However, just across the trail you are in a kingdom of the most horrible weeds. We were able to check all the plants on our list and some. Very satisfying. Weather on Monday and Tuesday kept us dry.
