BOTANY.cz is a “not-for-profit” web society whose mission is promotion of botany and nature conservation.
This website was founded in 2003. At present BOTANY.cz is being managed by environmental non-governmental organization Přírodovědná společnost (The Natural Science Society), in Prague, Czechia.
Our website associate professional botanists, environmentalists and botanical amateurs. In this project cooperate not only authors from Czechia but our colleagues are from Slovakia, Spain, Poland and Turkey too. We would like to start cooperation with people from other countries, we could be the bridge between botanical Eastern and Western Europe.
