Asplenium septentrionale

Distribution: Circumpolar distribution, arctic and mountain areas of Europe and Asia, Southwestern America and Northern Africa.

Ecology: It grows in cracks of rocks, rarely on walls, from lowlands to mountains.

Description: A small fern with a scaly rhizome, 15–17 high, with narrow blades, blades have slender, forked pinnules. Sporangia ripen from July to October.
