Family: Brassicaceae Burnett
Distribution: It is endemic to the Prokletije Mts., where it grows in Albania (around the mountains Shkëlzen, Hekurave and probably elsewhere) and Montenegro, where are recorded two small populations on the slopes of Volušnica and Ljubokuč.
Ecology: It grows in humid scree forests with Fagus sylvatica, on limestones and dolomites. Flowers from June to August.
Description: A perennial herb, up to 100(–140) cm high. The leaves are ovate, acuminate, dentate-crenate. The flowers are in raceme, saccate base of sepals c. 2,5 mm long, the petals c. 12 mm. The fruit is silicula, 30–50 mm long, elliptic, ± obtuse at the base and apex, densely ciliate on the margin. The carpophore c. 1 mm long.
Threat and Protection: In Montenegro the species is evaluated in category EN (endangered).
