Family: Aspleniaceae Mett.
Distribution: Europe, Northern Africa, temperate Asia and Northern America.
Ecology: It grows in rock fissures and on old walls, almost always on limestene, from lowlands to mountains.
Description: A perennial fern with a creeping, scaly rhizome and evergreen leaves, 5–15(–20) cm high, the leaves are bipinnate, dark green, pinnules obovate to lanceolate with crenate or dentate margins, sori ripen from May to October.
